Cliff here - For the past several years I have been collecting good used VW Type 4 Parts for my collection of 6 (or is it 7, 8, I'm losing count!)Type 4's that I own (Am I NUTS or what?). Of course, I have gotten more than I need so now I'm sorting through the stuff to keep what I need and sell what you may need for your Type 4 and other models. Parts for some of these VWs are becoming difficult to find, but I keep on searching for those elusive items (I acquired a pair of NOS Front Fenders for a 71-72 411 near Milwaukee during the summer of '99 from a guy who had been hauling them around from show to show for over two years).

For all you Type 4 Nuts, I'm thinking of a Registry of sorts. Email with your comments and suggestions.

Why is it called the Black Hole? Its a phrase in jest, coined by my VW Buddies, alluding to all these parts I've collected, going into a black hole, which stuff has rarely returned from or come out of. Some of it is making it to the light of day, after eons (or is it aeons?) of storage. My Mini-Business also deals in the weird, off-the-wall parts for primarily Type 4s, but I have some tuff for the other models too. Got a need? - Email me below - I just might have it. And even if I don't, I can probably source it somewhere and at a fair price too!

Am I full time with this "Hobby-Business?" No, thankfully I have a day job (sometimes nights too) with the Los Angeles Department of Water & Power, but I'm a semi-regular at the Pomona Swap Meet, so see me there and I'm available most early evenings to answer your EMail.
